Atrum Vox (literally meaning Dark Powers in Latin) is an AU future Harry Potter RPG that takes place 20 years after the final battle between the Dark and Light. Harry Potter has won the battle against Voldemort... But at a price! What price will Harry have to pay for ridding the Wizarding World of the Darkest Dark Lord to grace their presence in centuries?
Will he be willing to pay it? Will he have a choice?

The new activity check is posted and I suggest everyone heads there if they wish to keep their characters, this site has been extremely lax in activity and I do not wish to close it down as we now have a few new members accounted for.

January 21st, 2010 G'day, hola, bonjour. Just a small announcement; there has been a little change to our advertising section; ads are now sorted into "link backs" and "first posts" rather than "member" and "guests". All threads that were previously posted in the guest area have been moved to the first post section so everyone is advised to check there before posting their site in the link back area. As you are all aware from the absentees board I will be on holiday for a week starting tomorrow, the site will be left in the capable hands of our one and only right hand gal Bobby (aka Nicci) for that time. I hope to see everyone when I return.

January 13th, 2010 Hey All. There is a current need for a lot of groups at the moment, everyone seems to be going for Slytherins and Light Wizards so if you're willing to take on any of the others listed in the other side of this table (look left) then go right ahead and create a character. Those who have been accepted are welcome to begin RP the moment they have posted in the "Must Haves" area (you don't need to wait for it to be updated) but you cannot RP abilities/prefect positions/quidditch positions until an admin has approved it.
January 6th, 2010 Hello once again to all of you out there in internet land. Drawing your attention to the subplot index list again (see the links list) you will see that we have added a new plot entitled "What's Meant To Be Broken" which is a subplot involving the Rookwood family. If you know someone interested in RPing the remaining members of the family then invite them to join. Secondly; the canon list has been updated. It came to my attention (while i was editing the list for another site of mine) that the characters who were with the Marauders at Hogwarts were 10 years too old! But that has been fixed now.

The Alley is known for selling Dark Arts objects and Black Market items as well as many illegal products. You wouldn't want to be caught down here and even the Ministry Officials won't enter.
•» Hogsmeade High Street The students of Hogwarts School have been known to come here on weekends to cure the boredom and update their prank supplies. The residents of the Hogsmeade Village have been known to do their shopping here as well.
•» Ministry Of Magic The Ministry Of Magic is the main government building for Wizarding Britain. Here you will find the Minister's Office, Auror Headquarters, Courtrooms, Wizengamot Offices and much more to do with the running of Wizarding Britain.

There is a river nearby that is dirty enough to be smelt from streets away and the street lights are in a poor state of repair. Brick houses begin on the other side of the street and extend back from it in near-identical straight rows, many of these houses, like the lights, have not been properly repaired but are still livable.
